VaultConnect functions
Important
You need to grant VaultConnect users a number of permissions to allow them to perform their tasks.
In a cash-centric businesses, such as retail, hospitality, and transportation, cash can exist in the following locations:
Cash register tills
Self-serve devices
Vaults
Dumb safes
Smart safes
Recyclers
VaultConnect lets you leverage Connect to gain full visibility of the entire cash operations by:
registering deposits and withdrawals of money to and from vaults and dumb safes in Connect on-Device.
integrating with Connect to get access to the monitoring and analysis features for devices, cash, and other resources.
VaultConnect functions:
Deposit:
You can deposit money into safes by value, value type, and currency.
Typical use case: The CIT delivers money to the store, scans the bag, and enters the amount.
Withdrawal:
You can withdraw money from the safe by value, value type, and currency
Typical use case 1: An employee in the store withdraws money to refill the RCS.
Typical use case 2: An employee withdraws money from the safe when the RCS isn't in operation.

You can configure the list of accepted currencies.
Connect on-Device reports transactions and safe contents on all receipts and all RM messages (similar to other money data).
Connect displays the transactions and safe contents (similar to other money data). This data is included in cashier balancing. You can configure VaultConnect to manage the cash per denomination or as a value (per currency).
