Tracking money moved from a vault or dumb safe using a QR code
Prerequisites:
You need to have VaultConnect installed on a stand-alone computer next to the vault or dumb safe.
You need to have an account with the vault permissions to scan QR codes and make dispenses.
You need a QR code scanner connected to the computer running VaultConnect.
You track money using the VaultConnect QR code feature to track money being moved between a vault or dumb safe and a machine, such as an RCS.
Note
If you have the DISPENSE_RECEIPT_ADD_QR or DEPOSIT_RECEIPT_ADD_QR permission, the dispense or deposit operation on a machine, such as an RCS, prints a receipt containing a QR code. If you have the SMART_VAULT_QR permissions, and a 2D-enabled barcode reader, you scan the QR code in VaultConnect when depositing money in or dispensing money from the vault or dumb safe. The purpose of the QR code is to enter dispense or deposit information that you would normally need to enter manually.
The QR code on the receipt from the refill transaction on the RCS contains a unique ID that corresponds to a unique ID on the receipt from the dispense transaction on the computer running VaultConnect. Using the two IDs, Connect can connect the two transactions to give you full visibility of how the money was moved.

Select Continue again.
Check the receipt printed on a printer or on screen.
