Creating a configuration package for plug-ins
You create a configuration package for plug-ins when you want to be able to remotely distribute the configuration to several machines from Connect.
Task. Create a configuration package for plug-ins
Start Connect on-Device Studio.
On the File menu, select Export package.
In the Name box, enter a name for the export package.
In the Directory box, select the output folder for the export package.
In the Description box, enter a description that helps you identify the export package. This step is optional.
Clear the Export all box.
Select the SDK Plug-ins box.
If you have added custom service icons, select the Icons box.
To review the files included in the export package, select View. This step is optional.
Select OK.
You can now upload the export package ZIP file to Connect as a configuration package.
