Importing a package
You import packages when you want to apply the selected parts of a packet to the local installation.
You can also import a package and use it as a starting point to create a new configuration. In this case, you modify the package, save it, and upload it to Connect as a new configuration template. You can then deploy the new configuration template on one or several machines.
Task. Import a package
Start Connect on-Device Studio.
On the File menu, select Import package.
Browse to the file you want to import.
Click Open.
In the Import package dialog box, select the content you want to include. Select Import all to import all of the contents.
Click OK.
