Creating a commission rule

Use this procedure to configure a new commission rule.

Task. Create a commission rule
  1. In the navigation pane, select Commissions.

  2. Click New to create a new commission rule. Optionally, click Edit to edit an existing commission rule or Remove to remove an existing commission rule.

  3. From the Type drop-down list, select Default, Role, or Workunit to define the rule type.

  4. From the Value drop-down list, select a value.

  5. In the Create new commission dialog box, select currency from the Currency drop-down list.

  6. In the Percentage box, set the commission rate (a percentage of the deposit).

  7. In the Free limit box, set the limit for free of charge. A deposit smaller than this limit will be free of charge.

  8. In the Min fee box, enter the minimum fee that will be charged.

  9. In the Max fee box, enter the maximum fee that will be charged.

  10. Click OK to save the currency settings.

  11. Click OK to save the commission rule.

  12. Click Save to save the changes.

    Tip

    Click Undo to discard unsaved changes.

Note

  • Currency is set in the smallest denomination. For example, in the currency EUR, the denomination is cent.

  • Free limit overrules Min fee.

  • You can configure negative commissions, for example, to give customers an incentive to deposit cash into a CDS. For more information, see Navigation pane — Commissions.
