Configuring XFS communication
You use OrchardMonitorConfig to configure XFS communication between your hardware and Connect.
Note
You need to contact PayComplete™ to get Connect login information.
It isn't possible to change saved machine UUIDs.
The default port number for Connect communication is 1883.
By default, all hardware devices that support XFS are included in the monitoring.
Use semicolon (;) to separate multiple paths.
On the General tab, you need to enter an IP address and a Port number if you intend to develop or test the application. The IP address and port number are used to send raw JSON messages to a selected address and port.
Log in to OrchardMonitorConfig.
Select the General tab, .
Enter the UUID of the machine.
Select Generate to save the UUID.
Select Show status GUI to test the configuration. This step is optional and intended for development and testing.
Select Report transactions to allow deposit and dispense transactions to be reported to Connect. Clear the checkbox if CIM/CDM classes do not support necessary events or if transaction reports aren't required.
Select Install service if none of your hardware requires initialization and all your hardware can communicate directly after a reboot.
Select the CCC tab.
Enter the Connect IP address.
Enter the port number for communication with Connect. The default port number is 1883.
Enter the broker user, that is, the Connect login name.
Enter the broker password, that is, the Connect login password.
Enter the tenant, that is, the location of the site and machine in Connect.
Select the Devices tab.
In the INCLUDED list, select one or several hardware devices that should not be able to communicate with Connect and select the Exclude button.
In the EXCLUDED list, select one or several hardware devices that should be able to communicate with Connect and select the Include button.
Select the Clear button to remove all the devices from the EXCLUDED list.
Select the Logs tab.
Enter the paths to one or several trace logs to retrieve to Connect. Use a semicolon to separate paths.
Enter the path to a secondary (extra) trace file to retrieve to Connect.
Enter the path to all configuration files to retrieve to Connect. Use a semicolon to separate paths.
Enter the paths to all runtime data files to retrieve to Connect.Use a semicolon to separate paths.
Select the Download tab.
Enter the download path to use when you download configurations. The configuration .zip file is downloaded to this path and unzipped.
