Installing VaultConnect on a PayComplete™ recycler
Requirements and recommendations:
A PayComplete™ recycler, such as an RCS-800
Connect on-Device installation file, version 3.10.00 or later.
Important
To run VaultConnect on a recycler, you must have a Connect on-Device Enterprise license.
To use predefined mixes on a standard machine, you must have a full Connect on-Device Enterprise license and a Connect Retail Edition.
If you run VaultConnect on a recycler, you can control one single vault.
Double-click the installation file.
Select an installation folder. It is recommended that you keep the default installation folder.
Click Next.
Select Clean installation when you install for the first time.
Click Next.
On the Select Components page, keep the default components.
Click Next.
In the hardware configuration wizard, make sure that your RCS type is selected.
Click Next.
On the Additional coin hardware page, select the coin hardware you want to add.
Click Next.
On the Note devices page, select the note hardware you want to add.
Click Next.
On the second Note devices page, click Next.
On the Additional devices page, select maximum one vault under VaultConnect.
Click Next.
Select additional devices available in your machine.
Click Next.
On the Locality page, select the following.
Language — defines the display language
Country — defines regional settings, such as decimal separators
Variant — defines the language variant
Currency — defined in a later step so you can ignore it here
Click Next.
On the Connectivity page:
Select the system you want to connect to. CCC (Connect) is recommended because it gives you real visibility of your cash.
In the UUID box, copy the machine ID. It is required in a later step.
In the Broker Host box, enter the broker host for the specific node and region.
In the Tenant box, enter the tenant name.
Enter the Broker User and Broker Password for selected tenant.
Click Next.
Wait for the system to detect the selected hardware.
Click Finish.
Note
No spaces are allowed in the installation folder path.
VaultConnect is now installed on your computer. Before using the software, you need to configure the VaultConnect vaults from Connect on-Device Studio.
