Configuring Receipt Builder printer settings
You configure the printer settings to set up communication between Receipt Builder and the print server.
Important
If Receipt Builder and the print server are running on the same computer, enter localhost as Printer Server Host.
Task. Configure Receipt Builder printer settings
Start Receipt Builder.
On the Tools menu, select Printer settings.
In the Printer server port box, enter the port number of the port the print server listens to.
In the Printer server host box, enter the IP number or network name of the computer running the print server.
Select OK.
Note
If the default port 1234 is occupied by another software or unavailable due to network policies, you can configure the port number the print server listens to. Contact your network administrator for more information.
